The winter season is fast approaching, and the fall season is already growing colder and colder, but that doesn’t have to be the end of outdoor dining. To retain the experience of dining outside, Cork Bar and Restaurant has opened reservations for igloo dining in November.
With igloo dining, you can dine under the lights of our beautiful patio, with the sky above your head. These igloos are transparent, which allows you, your family, and/or friends to see everything around you as you would with outdoor dining. The difference is that igloos are heated and filled with warm lap blankets so you never feel a chill.
What’s Special About Dining in an Igloo?
Dining in an igloo has all the best parts about dining indoors and dining outside. You have the warmth and hot food that come with being safe in a building with an igloo. Dining in an igloo means you don’t have to eat quickly before your food goes cold with the next brush of the wind.
At the same time, you can look around and see the beauty of nature. Even if the weather is poor, an igloo can turn an ugly day into something enchanting. Imagine the soothing sound of the rain or the majestic sight of snow as the backdrop to your meal.
And unlike typical indoor and outdoor dining, igloo dining is a private affair. We only allow 8 people max inside an igloo at a time, and there are only two in use at a time. You won’t have to worry about other people listening to your conversations, or catching someone else’s. The only thing you’ll hear is the sound of your loved ones enjoying a meal together, and maybe the enchanting weather around you.
