Culinary Creations at Cork

When you plan a night out in Wilkes-Barre, you don’t want to go to a random place with half-decent food. You want a night out that you will remember, with incredible food that has you planning another night out before your night is even over. At Cork Bar & Restaurant, we offer a dining experience like no other, starting with our menu. From seafood to steak and everything in between, we have something for everyone.

Starters at Cork

When you sit down for your meal, the first thing that you need to decide is what to start your meal off with. Luckily, our menu has a wide variety of different dishes to choose from. Trying to get that summer feeling again now that the cooler weather is here to stay? Try our New Orleans crab cake, crafted with jumbo lump crabmeat, creole mayo, and Old Bay seasoning, or our lobster dip, made with pepper jack cheese and garlic! These dishes are sure to remind you of summer at the beach.

For something different, try our edamame dumplings, which are served with soy sauce. Want to stick to tradition and get something classic? We serve authentic bruschetta, made with diced tomatoes, black olives, fresh mozzarella, basil, balsamic vinaigrette, and parmesan cheese. Along with these and our other unique starters, our menu also includes a soup du jour and your choice of salad.

As you enjoy your starters, we’ll begin preparing your entrees. For your main dish, you have a large selection to choose from on our dinner menu. One of our favorites is the Ahi Tuna; black sesame crusted with a wasabi scallion cake, this dish is paired with a spicy Thai vinaigrette and pickled Asian vegetables. Other seafood dishes include seafood gratin, seafood or apricot salmon, red chili garlic shrimp, and shrimp and crab bolognese.

Our dinner menu also offers traditional dinner dishes such as chicken francaise, parmesan, or marsala. For a slightly different chicken dinner, our chicken milanese is perfect. This dish is prepared by breading and pan-frying the chicken and serving it with a side of green and tomatoes with balsamic reduction and a side of linguini aglio e olio.

Our red meat options round out our menu, with braised beef short ribs, pulled short rib pappardelle, peach whiskey pork filet, filet mignon, and ribeye steak. With the exception of our pasta dishes, all entrees are served with chef’s starch, vegetable du jour, and a house salad.
